Aircraft of the Future
PYTHEAS Technology develops a concept of de-icing system within the scope of the PARIDES research project led by ATR and funded by the French Direction Generale de l’Aviation Civile.
This new system aims to be efficient, compact and with low-energy consumption using piezoelectric technology, and will need to be compliant with latest EASA – European Union Aviation Safety Agency regulations.
The PARIDES (Project of an Incremental Regional Aircraft more DEcarbonated et more Sober) research project takes part in ATR ambitions of reducing the environmental impact of the regional air transport in line with 2050 objectives of carbon neutral emission set by the aeronautical sector, while enhancing safety and reducing operating costs of the aircraft.
