A young start-up from Aix and the CEA Tech are tackling the reduction of renewable energies production costs.
PYTHEAS Technology and CEA Tech, CEA’s “technological research” center, have signed a partnership contract at the Cité des Energies. The objective is to jointly develop the first generator specifically designed for the renewable energies.
PYTHEAS Technology, a young start-up based near Aix en Provence, and the CEA, the world’s leading research organization among patent applicants (600 per year), have decided to pool their R&D services and their engineers in order to develop and design a revolutionary generator using the piezoelectric effect with the unique characteristic of having a performance independent of speed and load.
The generator invented and patented by PYTHEAS Technology reduces the cost of electricity production.
