Robust piezoelectric resonators

Since October 2021, PYTHEAS Technology is hosting its first PhD thesis in partnership with two laboratories: LaMCoS (INSA Lyon – Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon) and ICA (ISAE-SUPAERO). Carried out by Floriane Peyrouse, the thesis “Robust piezoelectric resonators: application to low-frequency vibration damping and energy harvesting” fits perfectly the scope of PYTHEAS Technology’s strategy and ambitious researches. The goal is to develop piezoelectric vibration absorbers adapted to frequencies under 50Hz with high robustness in frequency. By removing these technological barriers, this thesis will participate in the development of systems converting slow hydrodynamic movements into electricity, a flagship project of the company since its creation.
